Here at P J Arnold Limited we believe a good awareness of health & safety is paramount. That’s why we ensure that all our employees are aware of their duties and responsibilities under current legislation and approved codes of practice.
In order to maintain and to continually improve our health & safety awareness we utilise various policies and procedures including our Health & Safety Policy, Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements. We monitor performance using Site inspections which we audit and review accordingly. We also consult with our staff regularly in order to gain vital feedback through toolbox talks and other briefing procedures. We find that consultation is a key tool in providing and ensuring a good level of Health & Safety, Productivity and Quality.
With our continually updated training plan we encourage and ensure that our employees achieve the best industry skills and qualifications. Our employees have undertaken a wide range of training from SMSTS to PASMA & IPAF training as well as the majority achieving their relevant NVQ and CSCS accreditation.
Many of our skilled operatives, Supervisor & Managers have surpassed a decade of dedicated service and as such have achieved a vast level of new skills & qualifications. With our yearly apprenticeship recruitment we hope to employ and develop the next potential candidates to becoming valuable members of our team.
